Amid all the reports of HTC One delay, HTC has come forward and issued a statement regarding the availability of HTC One smartphone in various markets across the globe.
According to the Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC One will go on sale in Taiwan, Germany and UK beginning next week. Other European countries as well as North America and select Asia Pacific countries will get the next by the end-of-next month, which means we might see the launch of HTC One around the Galaxy S 4 release in the Indian market or countries like US.
Here is the complete statement from HTC:
HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.
HTC has not said a word on the pricing, although as per the listing on various UK online stores, the phone is going for around 500 pounds (with VAT).
To remind you, HTC One packs 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 1080p full HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 4MP ultrapixel camera, 2.2MP front camera and the IR blaster.
