The Kickstarter funded OUYA game console is all set to be available in open market via retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Gamestop in the United States.  The console will be sold at $100 in June 2013, claims Digits, a Wall Street Journal blog.

The company will also be selling additional controllers for $50 via retailers, which is $20 than what OUYA is asking on its website.

To remind you, OUYA raised more than $8.5 million from a Kickstarter campaign and has already been taking pre-orders on its website. According to OUYA CEO Julie Uhrman, it already has more than 68,000 consoles on order but did not specify the exact number.

Julie added that the official unveiling is next month, when Kickstarter backers will get their units, followed by shipping of online pre-orders from OUYA website in April. The retail availability will begin in June.
